Orange hues and startling green draw you into our bustling, yet cozy character-filled converted home and an air redolent with aromas of freshly prepared seafood-inspired fare.

Co-owner Jane, the better half of this experienced and skilled husband and wife team entices you with mouthwatering descriptions and suggestions; I follow through on the plate with "roll up your sleeves", "ask for a finger bowl" and "dig in", creations all capably supported by our dedictated staff.

September 3rd 2012. "My husband and I were in Cape Town last week and were looking for a place to enjoy some fresh oysters and good food. We are really happy we chose Miller's Thumb for dinner. Its a lovely, colorful restaurant and the hosts were really nice and social. They had lots of specials on the menu and we decided to go with oysters, white fish (kingklip) cooked Malay style and another kingklip cooked in a sauce with lychee (special prep for the day!). The food was yumm!! Oysters were fresh and both the main courses were very well prepared. There was another special on the menu which we would have loved to order but we were completely full - it was the bengal fish curry. Everything about the restaurant was nice - ambience, hospitality, menu and food. We had a lovely evening!" Tania_Goel

September 4th 2012. "Read a review on this restuarant while back home in Toronto. Made a reservation as we were coming to CT for 5days. We had an amazing meal there last night, the food was fantastic, best fish I have had in a restuarant. The service was warm and the owner was so helpful and incredibly friendly.
